Title of the day: The true meaning of surrendering to God...

what is the true meaning of surrendering to God? Everyone has their ideal or views about surrendering... but most Christians or in fact all Christians, including myself should have the desire to surrender your eveything to the Almighty God... yes.. everything...

It is easy said then done... but I believe this 3 key component will help us really to surrender our everything to God... Time, Prayer, encouragement

1) Time - almost everything needs time, cooking needs time, to build a house needs time, to heal a wound need time too.. so to really learn the art of surrending to God take times too! there is no such things as today I am move by the holy spirit to surrender everything to God, the next day I will be able too... No way men.. I have experience it before, I was very determine to surrender everything to God a lot of time, my worries, hurts and pains.. but however each time it only last for awhile... then I begun to feel lousy, hurt again the next day and I was getting sick and tired of it.. until one day God spoke throught one of my colleauge, she say "hey Jon, u cannot surrender to God just through one day or one night of prayer... surrendering to God is almost an everyday thing!!" that sentance struck me... pardon me for using this crude example cause this first struck my mind hahaha... It is like telling a person to go toilet to "let out" all the "stuff" in his body at onces and no need to go toilet anymore! how can? everyday if we take in food, there is sure to have "left overs" to be pass out from our bodies.. so what ever we took in daily, our holy spirit will help us to filter those "bad stuff" out and we will have to surrender it to God and God is faithful and just, he will cleance and purify us (1John 1:9) The side effect of not always surrendering will be having continuousness pain, hurts, guilts etc... So it take times!! =)

2) Prayers - Prayers is the most powerful weapon in the spiritual world and is only through prayer we are able to communicate to God. We need to always talk to God what are the things we will want to surrender, we need to let him know that we need help and strength to do that. It is only through prayer that we are able to scold, complain, whiling, showing our temper, crying to God.. huh? scolding and complain? yup! dont tell me you nv scold or complain to your parents before huh.. God will alway listen to us through prayers where is long or short, simple or chim ones... how to pray to God? some may ask, aiyo simple lah... just talk lor! (but end with Jesus name and Amen)

3) Encouragment - God place people around us, our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, whether in church, workplaces, school or even friends.. we should always be there to encourage one another, to surrender ourself to our God and allow him to work in us freely. Encouragment can be very powerful and sometime God will use people around us to speak to us..

Heavenly Father, I need your wisdom to teach me what is the true meaning of surrending to you completely.. Lord it is really very hard and at times I fail to do that.. I still wana hold on to some issues in my life for this I wana ask for forgiveness... help me oh Lord to open up this stuborn heart of mine.. holy spirit I pray that you will help me by giving me a Nudge each time when I need to surrender to God.. thank you father.. I pray all this in Jesus name.. Amen
