Title of the day: Circumstances...

"A positive attidue may not directly change your circumstances, but it will change the way you respond to your circumtances."

Wao... powerful sentance isnt it... It was taken from a daily devotion calender dated 2 december, which I brought form the OM ship, doulos.

A positive sentance to counter a negative mind... I felt that now adays (including myself) are "train" in a way to always respond negatively towards an issues or happening.. we tend to think negatively first even before realising things isnt going to be so bad after all.

hmmm.... then why huh? why is negative alway the first to come knocking on our mind? actually I also hv no idea.. hahaha... maybe is because of the way we are brought up? was not taught how to challenge negative thoughts, looking beyond the problem and stuff... or we have been always bombarded by negative media news etc..

But one thing I know for sure.. our thinking will influence on our belief system and thus this two will affect our behavior. The above statement then show us that if we are able to change the way we think and belief... we are able to change the way we respone to any circumstances! but............... of course this changes is a process.. it is near to an impossible that u are able to change your thinking just like that!! it take time, patient and support from our close people we know.. well I am still learning too!! and I do fall many many times... hahaha.. and it is by the grace of my God and his strength that he has substain me throughout...

Phew.. it is not easy.. but I thank God that I am very fortunate to have a source of support.. a super nature... unbelievable... lovely.. and the list goes on....... Thank you Jesus.. =)

Heavenly father, first I seek for your forgiveness for greiving you over and over again with my thoughts and action. I thank you for your assurance love written by you in the bible that you are a loving father which is quick in forgiving and slow to anger... I pray as I grow, that I will be lead by your holy spirit.. to become a person of your will and a person that will seek you... help me also to have a positive attidue to counter any storm which is ahead of me.. help me to rejoyce in you despite the pain, difficultly, stress and tirness.. I pray for my friends also who read this prayer that they too will find this source of strength which is from you and you alone only.... thank you father... I pray all this in Jesus name.. Amen.
